Agoo, I’m Adiza.

Shaped by chaos. Fluent in diplomacy. Obsessed with presence.

I didn’t learn about leadership in a classroom. I learned it in Accra New Town.

Growing up in one of the city’s most vibrant and layered communities; four religions, thirteen ethnicities, and a pace of life that never once paused to explain itself I became fluent in something most people spend their careers trying to master: how to read a room, navigate complexity, and make yourself understood by anyone, in any context, under any pressure.

That neighbourhood was my first masterclass in presence. And I’ve never stopped studying it.

By the time I arrived at Achimota School, I had already figured out something important: meritocracy rarely travels alone. It tends to bring privilege as a co-pilot. Leadership, I discovered, is both inherited and designed and if the existing rules don’t serve you, you learn to write a few of your own.

That instinct served me well. By my early twenties, I was managing engagements for African billionaires, shaping the public image of institutions like the Bank of Ghana, UMB, CAF, and Guinness Ghana, all before “personal branding” became Africa’s favourite buzzword.

WALANII was born from everything I had lived, observed, and quietly filed away across a decade of working at the intersection of image, influence, and identity.

The dragonfly in our logo is not a decoration. It is an intention. The dragonfly ascends vertically it doesn’t ease into flight, it commits to it. Every client journey at WALANII mirrors that movement: rising above complexity with clarity and purpose, moving from capable to undeniable, from present to commanding. Mastering the unseen currents. Balancing agility with grace. Landing every time with authority.

That is what I do for my clients. And it is what I have been doing, in one form or another, since Accra New Town taught me that the most powerful thing a person can do is learn to show up fully, intentionally, and without apology.
